Why this exists

Most email services are tied to advertising companies, data collection, or big cloud platforms that know way too much about you.

NuitMail exists because some of us got tired of that.

We run a smaller and quieter email service with just one goal: keep as little data as possible and avoid unnecessary tracking.

Infrastructure

Our infrastructure is operated primarily in Iceland and Sweden, democratic jurisdictions with strong privacy protections.

DNS and core mail systems are managed directly by us.

Reality check

Email is inheretly insecure. There are limits to what any provider can protect.

• Other mail providers still handle messages once email leaves our servers.
• Metadata cannot be 100% hidden.
• A compromised device compromises everything on it.
• No provider is immune from legal requests or court orders.

Status

We are very early in development.
